The text editor opens .txt files.

Try the editor

It uses Worktray’s shared text-editing foundation — search, undo/redo history, line wrapping, and device-local persistence — with no secondary view, because plain text has no type-specific representation to render. On mobile the toolbar carries an undo/redo control; on desktop, history is driven from the editor and keyboard shortcuts.

Note

This editor is only used for files whose extension is actually .txt. A file with an unrecognized extension keeps its real name and content and shows an unknown-editor state — Worktray never silently treats it as plain text. See Getting started.
